Bravado Nursing BraYour breasts usually begin to take on a new shape and size during pregnancy in preparation for providing breastmilk to your infant. As these changes take place and your bra no longer fits comfortably, its time for a bra measurement to ensure a proper fitting and comfortable bra size. A poor fitting bra may lead to breast trauma and discomfort. Therefore, Carols recommends a bra fitting during your last month pregnancy to ensure comfort while breastfeeding.

Certified through a Bra Fitting Training Program, Carol Chamblin provides the personalized service of fitting mothers with the proper size nursing bra with the sale of leading Lady nursing bras. She recommends buying a least two bras at this time; one to wear while one is being washed and dried. After nursing your baby for a couple of weeks, she recommends buying more bras. Another fitting at this time will ensure your optimal comfort level while nursing your baby.

Nine out of 10 women wear an improperly fitted nursing bra. Either the band rides up in the back or those wearing underwires many times do not wear a bra that supports the tail of their breast tissue. This can lead to plugged ducts and breast infections.
